This journey is one not to miss. Absolutely everything is spectacular from the moment you are picked up to the moment you step off. On arrival the welcome bottle of wine and nibbles in your room is a lovely touch.

Being a ship of only 14 guest suites means this is an intimate experience. We had a fantastic group of like minded travelers from Australia, UK, NZ, France and the USA.

If you can afford it, the Angkor Suite is the best room on the ship. It’s a large room with its own balcony. There are times that it’s too hot to sit outside, but we managed to use it a lot. Also, the price includes all your laundry (which is expensive) and in room WiFi. Other suites pay for both these services, although there is plenty of free WIFI elsewhere on the ship.

If your budget doesn’t stretch to the Angkor Suite, all the other rooms are beautifully appointed and you receive the same dedicated care.

The service on this ship is incredible. The smiles and warm welcome you receive every time you see a staff member truly makes you feel special. They learn your name within the first 24 hours and they address you with your name.

On returning from an excursion you are greeted with a cold towel and welcome back drink. For visits to local villages, they switch your shoes for thongs (flip flops), clean your shoes and return them to your room.

Eric, the ship’s co-ordinator and his office staff, ensure everything runs on time and dissipates all the information you need to make the journey an easy one. Nothing is too much trouble.

The meals are delicious and varied. Local beers and spirits are available free of charge at any time, while wine is only available FOC for dinner. Cocktails and other spirits can be purchased and the ones I bought were only US$5, so not expensive.

The mini bar in your room is always kept topped up with beer and soft drinks. And you have a supply of biscuits and nuts to nibble on; not that you are ever hungry after all the beautiful meals!

Being the travel organiser in our family, this trip has been so simple because everything, absolutely everything is looked after.

And when they make a suggestion about activities you can do on your own, they will also book your tuk tuk with trusted drivers that can take you out, wait for you and being you back.

We can not speak highly enough about this company. Do yourself a favour, this is a trip of a lifetime!

We experienced life on the mighty Mekong over two countries.. Cambodia and Viet Nam in style and comfort on the Mekong princess this week. Amazing and spectacular experiences. The ships crew is dedicated to the passengers in every way. They anticipate your every needs and make life effortless and joyful throughout the passage.

Our trip started with The Cruise director Eric’s introductory briefing. He is funny, efficient and articulate and gives you the confidence. The cabin crew and the culinary crew were amazing. The food in style, presentation, variety, taste and atmosphere is next to none, can rival many gourmet dishes on land.

The Spa…and the two Spa therapists! Thank you for the body treatments and Tai Chi sessions on deck everyday.
We had two birthdays while on board and the crew made it an unforgettable experience for the celebration. Thank you.

We sailed safe. Every needs and desires were anticipated and fulfilled.
We had decent internet & Wi-Fi on board. Spotty on some locations. No complaints!
The daily activities on land gave us a deeper understanding on the life on Mekong over 10 days. Highly recommend this passage on The Mekong Princess to anyone who are thinking of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam visits.

I can't adequately express how fantastic was our experience with this cruise! The boat is beautiful and kept spotlessly clean. The excursions are informative and create memories to last a lifetime. I can't begin to explain how fabulously good is the food! Such a variety, and every dish perfect in taste and presentation! The staff was friendly, skilled, professional, and every one of them worked so hard to ensure everything was perfect for the guests. Never in my life have I seen such attention to detail! I had high expectations, and this cruise exceeded all of them.

My wife and I booked our cruise from Siem Reap to HCM to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. What a great decision this was. Our entire experience was quite simply amazing.

The room was a good size, tastefully decorated, bed was very comfortable and a choice of pillows which all meant we had a great sleep each night.

The meals each day were delicious. Western and Asian options were available for all meals. The lunch and dinner menus varied daily. My wife and I did not have a meal on board that wasn’t delicious.

Everything was top notch but what brings it all together is the service delivered by an awesome crew. Nothing is too much trouble, everything is done with a smile and you can see the staff genuinely enjoy what they do.

If you get the opportunity take a cruise on the Mekong Princess.

Words just don’t seem enough when trying to explain the beauty, luxury and professionalism of this ship. My family had such a wonderful time exploring Vietnam and Cambodia aboard the Mekong Princess. The staff are spectacular and cannot do enough for their guests. Every one of them went above and beyond in their quest to make our journey memorable. The food prepared every single day by the kitchen team was amazingly delicious. So much variety, flavours and seemed endless. Every day there is offshore activities with a local guide that enable you to explore the hidden gems of these countries. The guides were very informative and willing to answer all our questions. Every guest on our cruise was sad to have this journey end. Truly an experience like no other. Thank you Mekong Princess, our journey will be remembered forever

What a fabulous experience!

Intimate, luxury sailing along the Mekong with a French flair. Kudos to Monsieur Eric and his hardworking crew for making our anniversary memorable. We loved all the excursions and both guides were top notch, with excellent English. Mr. Phi was especially good as he explained life on the Mekong Delta. Western and Asian tastes were accommodated with excellent food, drink and upbeat welcoming service. The views were gorgeous and because the intimate nature of the boat, one could easily see all views, in every direction. If someone has a concern about seasickness, no worries there. Boat was steady at all times.

The quality of service was on highest level. Most of service staff are Cambodians and they show their kind nature at every turn, making sure their guests are happy. Food is good and plentiful as are drinks. They are all hardworking , from front staff to the behind the scenes. We loved the cute sayings our waiter came up with each meal. All of the wait staff would do well in a Michelin 3 star as they anticipate very well and ard highly trained. Our room was elegant ( picture old world elegance) . We have no complaints and note that any concerns were accepted graciously and welcomed. (I made a comment that the choice of music and loudness, was not commensurate with the audience, which would likely have appreciated instrumental, and when made, was noted and solved. )

Do not hesitate - just book. Note, because the boat is not huge you get to visit places on Mekong that are more authentic rather than port cities. For world class accommodation and a real view of Mekong life, this is the only choice!

This was the most amazing trip! The crew was astounding and made us feel at home every opportunity. The boat is beautiful, every room is glamorous, the food was excellent with numerous options every meal. They also arranged numerous unique opportunities to explore the Mekong delta, meet locals, and experience the region. I cannot recommend highly enough!

I notice that reviews are mostly done on a 5 star system. 5 stars simply dose not do justice to the team on Mekong Princess. My recommendation without a doubt deserves 10/5 stars. I cannot fault one thing that could justify a negative comment.
Keep up what you are doing, I would find it hard to make any suggestions on how to improve on your excellence.
To anyone considering doing this cruise, "STOP LOOKING, THIS IS IT"

Woyld heartily recommend this trip!
The ship is smaller than most and the staff quickly become like family ! Sailing up the Mekong is a marvellous experience and the excursions have been informative and at times very emotional. Food is excellent and everything is wonderfully clean and comfortable.

You won’t regret booking this trip!

We have absolutely enjoyed our week’s sailing with the Mekong Princess. The staff are fabulous, they look after all your wants and needs, very friendly and personable. The arranged tours have been well organised, and very informative, with our own personal guide. There has also been time to relax and enjoy the wonderful ship.
A luxury home away from home and we would highly recommend this tour.

I have been on numerous cruises and one of the best is the Mekong Princess, with exceptional service - nothing is too much trouble. The staff always have a smile and greet you warmly and you feel you’re part of a family. They always go the extra mile, a tribute to the company. Daily excursions are included and the guides are knowledgeable and provide insights to the histories of Cambodia and Vietnam.

The food is varied and excellent and caters for everyone. Drinks are included (wine with meals) and snacks are readily available.

It is an absolute pleasure to sail on the Mekong Princess and I thoroughly recommend booking a cruise with them.
